I had the pleasure to attend the same church with my fellow brother-in-Christ. His smile always brought great joy to my heart as well as to my family. We are indeed grateful that we were able to fellowship with him and his entire family. He indeed was a mighty men of God with a loving heart. God bless the entire family.

Veronica, I am truly sorry for your loss. Your father was, and continues to be a wonderful man in the hearts of so many that he touched. He was a great role model to so many by his actions and strong belief in God. May it bring you comfort knowing that he is with God now. He leaves behind four beautiful daughters, one of which I am proud to call my best friend. We love you and are praying for you and your family during this difficult time.

I remember him driving Veronica and me to a work conference downtown. We joked it was like we were in junior high again, with Dad giving us a ride.

Grandpa (Ito) I thank you so much for ALL you've done for me and our family. You made my laugh, encourage me, put a smile on, taught me spanish words, and of course the most important thing you set a Christian example for all to see.

I remember me and you will go outside in the back to sit and relax watching God's beautiful nature. When it rain espically because we loved it! I remember when we have our casual talks well lets say I needed A LOT more practice. You taught me here and there spanish, which I really really wish I knew it already so I can talk to you more and more about life and you and me and everything...I miss you so much grandpa. I remember when me and you get so upset that the rockets are loosing or the poor astros! I remember I promised you that When I get older and have money I would take you and my daddy to the rockets game (floor seats). I can keep writing forever. Everytime I pass by your room or go in it I promise you I will have joy even though it will be tough to but I know you wouldn't want us to be sad so I do this all for you and My God. I LOVE YOU!

You lived out your faith and walked the talk which we need to take heart on more and apply to our daily lives. You showed me how to love just like my father in heaven who created us and be bold in the world with the braveness i never seen in any man. What a glorious day that you enter the gates of heaven its such a rejoicing time, but I just wasn't ready for you to leave. Its so hard for me to continue on with my daily life but YOU would want me to be strong just as God has intened for us to be when we are going through hardships and times of doubts. I know you and grandma are looking down at us watching us grow, learn in every way, and loving the Lord with our hearts. So I pray for the strength for me and my family to have. Ill see you soon my love one. Te amo mucho abuelo!

For the four years I have known the Garcia family and their grandpa, I can say that this family is nothing but servants for God. As I look back on all the memories I've had with grandpa Garcia, one in particular comes to mind. It was one day last year that I went to their home and he wasn't feeling well and all he could say was "I want some cereal." this man knew the meaning of love, respect, and honesty. If something was wrong he always knew it. I also can remember my sophomore year when I was learning my first year of Spanish, I always attempted to talk in Spanish to him, but I hardly ever seemed to understand the many things he said and we just laughed because we knew that eventually I would be able to have a conversation. This man was a true warrior for God and will always be remembered as that in our hearts. Although he will truely be missed, he will always hold a special place in everyones heart that he impacted. To breanna and the family my condolences and prayers go out to you in this time of pain. If anything is needed by y'all for any reason, don't hesitate to ask. We love you guys and are here for you in this time.
Love,
The maki family

It was fun spending time with you!

Gracias, Thanks for being such a great example to me in life. You have showed me a glimpse of God's heart by the way you loved so many. You have taught me how to live this life with an humble spirit living as a servant of God daily.
I know how to love my wife, by the way you loved yours.
I know how to be a strong Dad, because you modeled strength.
I know how to trust God, because I saw in who you trusted.
I know how to have courage, because I saw courage in you through your illness.
I know I will see you soon because you were more than a Father you are my brother in Christ and nothing can seperate us from the wonderful LOVE of God.

You are now in His Grip, your son Jaime

And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. 1 John 4:16
