Stanley Wilhelm Obituary
Stanley Mark
Wilhelm, passed away on October 16, 2011 at his home in Tomball, Texas with his wife and children at his side. Born on June 9, 1950, he was the middle of three children born to Stanton and Maurene Wilhelm. He was raised in Dallas and was an accomplished athlete in his early years. He attended the UT Arlington and earned a PhD from Rice University. His illustrious career would take him to the farthest reaches of the globe. Those close to him knew a remarkable generosity, wisdom, and sense of humor.
He is survived by his wife Jeerawan, his children Nikki, Natalie, Armand, and Norman, his mother, and siblings Katy Kiser and Kirk Wilhelm. He succumbed early Sunday morning after a courageous battle with cancer.
A funeral service will be held this Tuesday, October 18 at the First United Methodist Church of Comanche, Texas.

Jerri, Kirk, Katie, and Maureen, You have my most sincere sympathies in Marks passing. I am having trouble believing it even though I knew it would happen eventually. I will miss him as he was my friend for 45 years. I will visit the cemetary in Comanche as I get there occasionally to visit my aunt. My mother is buried there as well. We have lost a great man and a good friend.

I remeber Mark from the days in Westminster Youth Choir at Oak Cliff Presbyterian Church. He was a very kind,considerate person who will be missed by many. My prayers are with the family.

Mark was our neighbor in Tomball for twenty years. We shared many of life's ups and downs. We could not have asked for a better friend and neighbor. Our prayers are with his family. He will be missed.

I worked with Mark in the early nineties at Cortest Labs - he was a bright mind with a keen sense of humor. He was too young to go, but sadly this is not a matter of our choice
