Travis Welch Obituary
TRAVIS AUSTIN WELCH, 19, of Katy, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, May 22, 2011. He is with the angels now.
He is survived by his parents, Dirk Welch and Kelly and Lance Golemon; siblings, Kristen Linney & Randy Hundley, Sherry & Scott McCard, Andrea Scott, and Dirk Schillinger; grandparents, Sherry & Jack Crawford, and John & Karen Stewart; nieces, Riley, Kyleigh and Hannah; nephews, Payton, Mark and Tylar; and his soul mate Paige Remington and his unborn son, Jack.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Second Baptist Church-West Campus, in Houston.
Those wishing to make memorial gifts may do so to the Travis Welch Memorial Fund at any Chase Bank.

my sweet boy,
jack and i miss you everyday, you never knew it but he always knew your voice, and touch, he would move so constantly knowing you were right there.
i still can not believe any of this is happening, but i find strength in everyday, and though i have my moments, i know you are right there pushing not only myself but your family to be stronger and to find joy in each and everyday.
i am so glad that you are now peaceful and happy, i see it in your eyes every time i dream of you along with the pure happiness you carried in you smile here on earth only shines brighter now up there.
i miss you everyday, and my love for you will always "stay true" and as life carries on, your spirit will always be there, living through jack, and i am so excited to see that, and hold him, knowing you left me with the last piece of you.

I can't even imagine the pain that you must be feeling right now. The love and devotion that you had for Travis was like nothing I have ever seen. You both always ended up back in each others arms and now he has left his legacy for you to remember him by, Jack! My heart is hurting for you but just try to accept that God needed him worse than you did. I pray that one day you will realize and understand why this horrible thing had to happen to everyone that loved and cared for this young man.Let God wrap his arms around you and that baby boy and guide you through this difficult time. If you ever need anything please do not hesitate to stop by. I will be praying and thinking about you and your son.

I know its been a while since we actually talked but honestly ive known you since kindergarden. I remember you knocking over my puzzle and me crying my eyes out sinxe i had worked so hard lol its still so shocking to know that you are gone. My heart goes out to your fam,Paige, and son.. I am praying for your fam to give them strength and wisdom to know that you are in better hands.. We are all waiting to get there, to the ultimate paradise but you, Travis, are already living it so im happy for that even though you are no longer here with us.. Paige and your fam are so lucky to have a beautiful guardian angel who will forever be close at heart.. God bless you & your fam until we meet again..

Ha, I know you will...Not only are you in such a beautiful place, but you always made sure that no matter where you were you were having fun. You were always the life of the party, and because of that I can only imagine you're having the time of your life as you watch over us all. You hated when people you cared about cried and couldn't stand to see them sad but I'm more than positive that I'm not alone when I say that its hard to stay strong when such a good friend like you, who was the cause of so many smiles, isn't physically here to put those smiles on our faces...but your presence still lingers and the light you shined and the happiness only you could make will live on forever in the hearts of those that were so blessed to have you their lives.
I am so thankful to be one of them. I am so lucky to have met you all those years ago and to have had you stay in my life even after I moved
away in 6th grade.
I'm blessed to have felt the warmth of your enormous, caring heart. You were such an amazing person and an even better friend.You will always be loved and always missed, but NEVER will you be forgotten.
