It was sad to learn that George Tenney passed on to be with the Heavenly Father as he will truly be missed by many. Attending The Tenney School was such a fun time in my life and helped me transition into the young man that I was, and the adult I have grown to be.

Greatly saddened by the news of his death, this man and his wife made one of the biggest differences in our lives... If it had not for their school we would not have the family that we have today. God bless the Tenney's. George, you will never be forgotten.

Thank you for always pushing us out of the break room and into class, or study hall. We may have resisted, but in the end we went. You are part of why I am the teacher I am today.

George Tenney had an incredible impact on my life as a young adult. If it were not for him and his wife, I would never have worked so hard to get where I am today. He will be missed, and I really appreciate everything the school did for me. Thanks. It is rare that so much goodness could be created and shared by a such hard-working family who dedicated themselves to such a worthy cause. I'm positive the Lord has welcomed him into his heavenly kingdom!

Mr. Tenney hired me years ago to work at a school like none other. He was polite, professional, guided by goals that truly helped children. His demeanor was quiet, yet demanding; as leader of the Tenney School he represented all that is good about
education. God bless you George Tenney.

I am grateful to Mr. Tenney for giving me my first teaching position in 2005. I have taught at The Tenney School for 10 years now. At the time he hired me, I was experiencing extremely difficult issues; I feel he saved my life! I will always remember his support and encouragement, along with his smile! My thoughts and prayers are with all of his family.

I am so thankful to have known George Tenney, he was such a wonderful Man of God and loving father, grandfather and husband to his wife Judy, and his church family. I remember George as one of the funniest people I knew! :) I always looked forward to seeing him either in person on family visits or through "Skype" on the internet. Praying now for Judy and all of his extended family and friends and church family. Will miss you very much George, will see you again in Heaven :)
