I called you Judy for the first 30 years of our friendship and Lee the last 21 years. My heart holds many memories some warm and tender, some touched with sadness, some with joy and some with pain. There will be no more memories to make for that I am deeply sad. You were a friend like no other and I will miss you terribly. Colette was so right what a matchmaker you were.
Love, Jeannine

Dear Judy, God indeed works in mysterious ways. In 1968 a 14-year- old boy selling Tyler roses in the boiling hot son was encountered by a women running frantically across her front yard hollering "Paper Boy", "Paper Boy." I started not to pay any attention, but was drawn as you crossed the street to one of the most beautiful women I had and have ever seen. You became my friend invited me to your home, introducing me to your husband Ed, son Lawrence and your sister Phyllis and fortunately found the poodle you had lost. Your beauty was breathtaking and your heart wonderful. I never was able to make contact with You after You moved to San Antonio in 69. But I read about your successes and outing with Foster Brooks in 76. I eventually ran into Phyllis, who you adored, two years ago. Unfortunately,I didn't try to contact you for reasons I regret, but I know that when You got to heaven,You discovered that I had never forgotten You. I was attracted to my first wife because she reminded me of You and was always hoping that we'd meet again. Thank you for being my friend. Love Always, David.

Dearest Judy (Lee): We had a lot of fun times together; the last time being at that Italian restaurant in the Heights you loved so much. We had a fabulous, expensive culinary delight! We shared many recipes together and always tried to outcook each other. I always admired your business savy, your tenacity to live well, and your love for animals. And boy what a matchmaker you were! I love you, and will always miss you!!! Love, Colette

I knew Lee through Justice for All and she was a shining light in the darkness. Although she suffered with the loss of her son, she worked tirelessly to bring relief to others. She was an inspiration to be around and she will be missed.

My sister Judy always wanted a better life for me and she was a great inspiration as I watched her develop a sucessful business. I thank her for the ambition and drive that I learned from her and for her selfless acts of kindness that she showed towards poor helpless animals. She was a True Blue Friend to many of them in her lifetime. Looking through all of the family photo's I remember how beautiful she really was. This is the photo that she selected to use in the event of her death. I remember it as a wedding photo from her marriage to Sid who was besides her only son Lawrence, the love of her life!
I am sorry that she is gone but know that now she is finally at peace!
Love,
Phyllis

Judy is what I called her, she was my first cousin. We grew up together and were best friends. We shared many secrets and laughs. We also shared many sorrows, but we were always there for each other. We also shared my granddaughter, Ashlee, who was loved very much by both of us. Aunt Judy Lee missed her graduation this month, but she was there in spirit.
Judy Lee, we will always miss you.
Love,
Little Nel
