My sincerest sympathies for your family. Ron has been a wonderful and unique friend for as long as I've known Houston. I'll miss him and his big smile and booming laugh I so clearly remember. Farewell good friend.

I will miss Ron. He helped me keep my '91 volvo running even though each time I called he would try to sell me a car. He was dependable and accomodating. After hearing the touching testimonies at his funeral, I know he was that same way in his personal life. I'm glad I knew him.

I grew up with Ron in Hollis, NY. He was a great friend and although the internet kept us in touch, I was looking forward to his promise of coming up to NY this summer and getting together. I will miss you and your emails terribly!

Ron was the "most honest guy anybody knew". He ran his business the way they should be run in every way. He was a fine man to get to know and very committed to our country and its ideas and values. Anybody who encountered Ron always got a personal bonus from him in some form or another that made you come back for more. May Ron's Downtown Auto be his lasting legacy to our community. His service was widely recognized as the best!
I know he'll be watching and remain most demanding.

Ron was a favorite...kind of guy you like doing business with. Clever, friendly, trustworthy, resourceful. I will miss bringing him "problems," but I'm sure he's enjoying himself. Love to his family and friends.

Ron was one of my favorite characters, someone I trusted and enjoyed doing business with. I liked that he related to folks on a personal basis. I thought he was intelligent, resourceful and witty. I will miss coming round to see him and I wish his family and friends a graceful acceptance of his passing.

Ron will be missed by myself and my crew here at Main Auto Parts. I knew when I saw his number in our caller I.D. that we would bicker as usual(He ecpectected it of me and I of him)God rest his soul. May he give Tina and Mike the peace of knowing his suffering was felt by many and is now over and he is at peace. From all of us at Main Auto parts, Dale, Eric, Eric II, Cindy, Stuart(boomarang), Donald, Richard, and many others

I am so sorry for the family.
I know he will be missed! He was always inquisitive, inventive and thorough. I never knew where his conversations would take us, but I knew it would be a fun ride. Bless you and the good things you did!

You will be greatly missed as a person, a mechanic, and a lover of pepperoni pizza. We will always have fond memories of you and the wonderful Christmas Eve, you shared with the family. I still have the Crown Royal you brought to me as a gift. Special times, and memories will always be with us.
