My dearest friend Kari and family of Tommy,
My thoughts and prayers go out to you, your family, Tom's wife and son. After also losing my brother Brett, last year so suddenly, may I share with you that you will find God's peace during your most difficult times as well as comfort in believing that Tom is in the most beautiful and serene place we could ever imagine. May he watch over you and be a guardian angel to each of you throughout your journey here on earth, until you all meet again merrily in heaven.
May God bless each of you.
Fondly,
Suzette Herrin Tejeda

TODAY I HAPPENED TO BE LOOKING AT OUR SOPHMORE YEARBOOK, EVEN THOGH HE WAS MUCH MORE, I REMEBER TOMMY THE MOST AS A FOOTBALL PLAYER. HE WAS OUR STARTING FULLBACK THROUGHOUT HIGHSCHOOL. THERE IS A NICE PICTURE OF HIM IN UNIFORM IN THE SECTION FOR SOPHMORE FOOTBALL. I ALSO REMEBER HIM FOR HIS TRUE FAITH IN GOD. HE WAS A GOOD KID THEN AND I KNOW HE MADE A GREAT FATHER AND HUSBAND. TONITE I WILL PRAY FOR HIS SOUL AND PRAY THAT HIS FAMILY WILL BE O.K. MAY GOD BLESS HIS SOUL.

I feel like the world is a little less brighter without Tom, but try to remember that it was brighter in the first place because of him.
I cannot get his smile, his laugh, and his twinkling eyes out of my mind.
Our lives were all better because he was a part of them.
I am thankful that his pain is gone and know that he will keep an eye on all of us - especially Dawn and Anthony.

So sorry to hear of your loss. When I think of Tom I remember the happy go lucky person he was in high school and all of the good times that were had by all of us that were his friend. He was so down to earth and would give his shirt off his back to anyone. I hope that his son turns out to be just like him. God Bless!
