Seems impossible that Benny has been gone so long. In my heart, It was just yesterday that we were working traffic together at the Summit. He loved his children and his wife above all else and was forever doing for others. I remember when things went haywire he would look at me and say
"I'm not gonna to say a word". I miss my good friend and think of him every day as I drive by Lakewood Church on my way to work.

I first met Benny when we played teenage baseball together; then we were together at SF Austin High School; then the many memorable too short visits at the Astrodome. His smile, graciousness and infectious good humor ALWAYS made my day.

Make sure to put God on the front row like you did me for so many years. Thanks Friend!!

From the first day we met and for the many years that followed our working together, Benny showed a love for life, family and work. He was a joy to be around with his positive attitude and infectous smile. I was fortunate to have him in my life.
