1929-2014
Mr. Herman Benson Sr., 84, passed away on November 16, 2014. A wake will take place on Friday, Nov. 21, 2014 from 6 - 9pm in Marie's Chapel at Wiley Mortuary. Funeral services will be held at 12pm on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014 at New Friendship Baptist Church ~ 2019 Ellington.

His unusually high work ethic, his love for family, his great concern for his children, his generous spirit of helping others, his support of the government, his strong will of his opinion, He was well read and self taught in many areas of life. Condolences extended to the passing of my very good fri'end Mr. Benson. He was to go to person whenever I needed him. I will truly miss him. He was an icon in the 44 Acres Homes area. May God give his family comfort during their time of sorrow. RIP my friend RIP
