Here it is four years later, and I'm just hearing about this, I knew Bette from bridge....we were partners many years ago, and then lost touch. She was always lovely and gracious, and she will never be forgotten.

Hazel and I met at a widows' organization right after Harold passed away. I liked her immediately and we have enjoyed lunch together monthly ever since. She was a delightful and dear friend. Hazel Guillot

Bette and I met as new widows about 24 years ago. She was a wonderful friend, so thoughtful, cheerful and helpful. We met for lunch every month. She will certainly be missed.

Bette was the best neighbor and just like a grandmother to my kids. She never forgot their birthdays even when grown. She was such an elegant lady. I just hope I can live as long as she did with my mind as sharp as hers was. We love you, God Bless you.

Bette was my dear, dear friend for about fifty-five years. She was like the big sister I never had. We met at a church circle in Pittsburgh, Pa. and even though we both moved from there we remained in touch by running up the phone hours. We visited each other in Houston and Lexington, Ky. After Bette was widowed, she sometimes joined Martin ( my husband) on trips. We had a great time together when we went to London and Scotland. Martin and I both loved Bette very much and we both will miss her very much. May God comfort you at this time of loss. Harold your mother loved you so much. Thinking of you, Iona and Martin Noger and family
