What a privilege and an honor to have known Dr. John Stone. He delivered 4 of 5 of my children. My eldest daughter that he did not deliver he also cared for when she grew up. He employed me when I didn't have a job. Helped me come into the knowledge of Jesus Christ. Cared for me when I did not have insurance at no cost. He was a genuine man of God. I mean he lived it every day. I can recall having my second to the last son. I was very sick going in and out of consciousness. I was so afraid when I asked Dr. Stone to please not let me die. He said, "Teshunda Marie, I'm not going to let you die, God won't let me." I then looked up at him and told him that I was afraid, he took my hand and began to pray then, he told me that I was being cared for by two of the best Doctors in the world...both his daughter and himself. I felt so safe knowing that Dr. Stone was there to care for me through my pregnancies in 1989 - 1991 - 1995 - 1999 - He was totally awesome and his memory will live on forever through every child that he has brought into this world. P.S. I would always tell him that my middle name was not Marie but he told me that he liked that name and he never stopped calling me Teshunda Marie.

Thank You Mrs. Stone for sharing your wonderful husband with the world. God Bless You All

He would even keep his office open late for patients who couldn't get in earlier. A great doctor and a great man. Iris Melba Orosco-Burman

We will all miss Dr. Stone; he touched so many of our lives. I have not met an OB-GYN and community leader that has exemplified such a positive impact as he. His patients and their families were blessed by his alert, calm, levelheaded abilities.

My husband and all three of my boys were inspired by Dr. Stones warm, friendly, family oriented conversations, words of wisdom, and encouragement. Many doctors, nurses, and individuals in the medical sciences have been influenced and motivated by Dr. Stones' high morals, intellectual and elevated ethics. For decades, his patients benefited from his steady hands, and distinguished surgical performance.

Our continued prayers are with the family. Celebrating a life well lived. We will cherish the memories forever.
