David Neuenfeldt Obituary
David R. Neuenfeldt, age 64, of 1303 Flambeau Street, Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at his residence.
David was born on February 4, 1948 in Manitowoc. He was the son of the late Raymond and Olene Kasten Neuenfeldt. David was a graduate of Lincoln High School with the class of 1966 and continued his education at the Milwaukee School of Engineering. David had been employed with Manitowoc Engineering, Paragon Electric and retired from Manitowoc Cranes in 2006 due to poor health. On October 14, 1972 he married Patsy Kranz at First Reformed United Church of Christ in Manitowoc. David was an active softball player with several leagues in Manitowoc, participated in bowling leagues and was an avid sports fan.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years: Pat; one daughter: Kristi Neuenfeldt and special friend Jack Weaver III, Woodbridge, VA; one brother and sister-in-law: Fred and Pat Neuenfeldt, Manitowoc; one sister: Sally Jewell, Brandenburg, TN; two nephews: Scott (Sushelle) Neuenfeldt, Lake Forest, CA; Dan Neuenfeldt, Manitowoc; one niece: Sarah Jewell and special friend Frank, Kenosha, WI; along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Raymond and Olene Neuenfeldt.
A Life Celebration Social for relatives and friends will be held on Monday, January 21, 2013 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 North Water Street, Manitowoc. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials for the American Heart Association.
