D'wight Lesperance Obituary

Lesperance, D'wight D.

D'wight D. Lesperance, age 70, a resident of Two Rivers, passed away on Friday, September 15, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay.

D'wight was born on March 13, 1947 in Wausau, WI, son of the late Donald and Jean (Sharpe) Lesperance. He was a graduate of Two Rivers Washington High School with the class of 1965. On November 11, 1988 he married the former Shirley Redeker (Kappelman) in Manitowoc, WI. D'wight loved life and had a great sense of humor. He liked to take on new tasks and then give 1000% to be the best he could. Early on he was an entertainer/singer, traveling all over Wisconsin to perform. D'wight worked for Mirro in Manitowoc for over 35 years. He loved fishing and was a Charter Captain in the Manitowoc/Two Rivers area. He later purchased his own boat called the Fish Whisperer and loved taking family and friends out to catch the big ones on Lake Michigan. He bred, raised, trained and showed horses and owned Cedar Pines Ranch with his wife. D'Wight was also a member of the Branch River Riders Club. D'wight and his wife Shirley owned and operated County Satellite Sales and Service LLC for 14 years until their retirement. After retirement he enjoyed cooking and sharing his talent with others. D'wight liked to cook on his Traeger grill and his newest passion was Sous cooking. He enjoyed putting his latest food creation on Facebook while watching the wildlife out his window and enjoyed feeding the he was fish he was raising in his pond. He loved walking across from his house and making his own trails through the State Park until he reached the lake and back. D'wight was always willing to help in a time of need even if he did not know those in need. Not only was he a loving husband to Shirley, they were each others best friend. D'wight was a wonderful father, grandfather, great grandfather brother and brother-in-law.

Our deepest sympathy to all the family and so sorry for your loss. D'Wight was very helpful with our DISH set up and questions we had over the years. May wonderful memories keep him close.

My deepest sympathy to the family members. I was so sad to learn of D'wight's passing. I have many fond memories with my Dish system that he handled. He was a terrific local dealer and cared about his customers. Always enjoyed seeing him at the Manitowoc County Fair.

Our deepest sympathies to the Lesperance family on the loss of D'wight. He was the nicest individual one could ever know. He was always willing to discuss things and play with our dog when he and later he and Paul were out to service the satellite and internet for us. I still remember being on the phone with him one day and seeing this huge woodpecker in the tree. I commented on it and he immediately told me what type it was. He will be truly missed.

God's blessings to the family in this difficult time!
