Laurie Canington Obituary

Laurie Lynn Canington
June 28, 1971 - March 25, 2013
Laurie Lynn Canington, beautiful soul, fountain of youth, baby whisperer, devoted Christian, best friend, neighborhood loose tooth puller, and avid Bronco fan left this world much too soon on March 25th.
A devoted and loving wife and mother, dedicated friend, faithful and active member of Heritage Bible Church, she was always helping others and brightening the world around her. We will never understand why God allowed her to leave this world at this time, but we do know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28)
Laurie started the journey of her life born in New York while her parents were on vacation but lived in Idaho, then moved to Germany, Texas, Georgia (where she met her husband Ken), South Carolina, Georgia again, and back to Idaho. She has raised her family in Idaho and worked with Ken as Modern Mechanical.
Laurie is watching down from heaven over her loved ones left behind; husband of 20 years Ken Canington, daughters Danielle Martinez, Caitlyn Canington and Leslie Canington, son-in-law Tony Martinez, granddaughter Kylie Martinez, parents Jake and Cathy Montgomery and mother Dawn, sister Cathy Jo, niece Savannah, and nephews Keaton and Alic, many, many friends, and more honorary children than can be listed.
Laurie will be surely missed and remembered always by those who knew her. We love you Laurie.
Memorial Service at 10:30 am Tuesday April 2 at Heritage Bible Church, 7071 W. Emerald St. Boise, Id 83704.

In a perfect world
death would never be.
Love would be forever,
and last eternally
In a perfect world,
You'd still be by our side,
lighting up our happy lives.
You never would have died.
In a perfect world,
sadness would not be found.
Love and life, and happiness
Forever would abound.
Perhaps that perfect world
awaits us when we die.
A world where eternal bliss
is found in heaven's sky.
We'll cling to faith and hope,
for God is a God of love,
And in His time we'll join you
In a perfect world above.
Laurie you will be dearly missed! We are blessed to have had you as part of our family.
