Baby Sophia,
You've never met me, but we have a lot in common. I was born this past August at Mercy with MDS. I hope I can be as strong as I have heard that you are. I am so sorry for your family that they no longer get to hug you, but you're home , and God will hug you now. Don't worry about your family- God will hug them too!

Tiny Angels

Tiny Angels rest your wings
sit with me for awhile.
How I long to hold your hand,
And see your tender smile.
Tiny Angel, look at me,
I want this image clear....
That I will forget your precious face
Is my biggest fear.
Tiny Angel can you tell me,
Why you have gone away?
You weren't here for very long....
Why is it, you couldn't stay?
Tiny Angel shook his head,
"These things I do not know....
But I do know that you love me,
And that I love you so".

We extend our deepest sympathy to Geoff and Nuray and Eliz and the rest of the family. Sophia's short little life was filled with many hospital stays and took a lot of care, but she was a blessing to her wonderful family during her courageous little life, who took care of her in such a loving way. She was a ray of sunshine to all who knew her. We will miss her and will never forget her and the impact she made on all of us.
