Virginia Epps
87, passed away Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012. Memorial service 2 p.m. Sunday in Founder's Chapel at White's Chapel United Methodist Church, Southlake, Texas. Should friends desire, memorials may be given to First United Methodist Church of Massillon, 301 Lincoln Way East, Massillon, Ohio 44646.
Virginia was born May 14, 1924, in Massillon, Ohio, to Isaac and Ethel Huffman. She was a graduate of Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. She was active in public health nursing in Bowling Green and Massillon, Ohio. She retired as an RN from Stark Attention Center. Virginia volunteered for over 60 years for the Red Cross as a BSRN. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Massillon before moving to Southlake in March 2011, the Canton Players Guild Community Theatre. Virginian was a member of the Woman's Club, College Club and Daughters of the American Revolution in Massillon, Ohio. Virginia was the widow of James Oliver Epps.
Survivor by children, Elizabeth Epps of League City and Ginny Elder and husband, Bill, of Southlake; grandchildren, John and Olivia Elder; and many nephews and nieces.
