Pearl Dunbar Obituary

Pearl Lydia Dunbar
83, of Kent, passed away Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013 at Robinson Memorial Hospital, following a short illness. Pearl was born in Uhrichsville, Ohio June 29, 1930, a daughter of the late William and Grace (Brown) Brown. She was a member of Christian Life Center in Minerva where she was active in the Church Ladies Auxiliary Pearl was a dispatcher for the Minerva Police Department for many years.
Pearl is survived by a son, Chester Dunbar, Jr.; three grandchildren, Chester Dunbar, III and William Dunbar of Clearwater, Fla., and Lydia Dunbar; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Carolyn Kandel, of Minerva; Pauline Huff, of Tucson, Ariz.; and a brother, Russell Brown, of Minerva. She is preceded in death by her husband, Chester Dunbar; brothers, William and Vernon Brown; and sister, Charlotte Hobson.
Funeral Services will be held in the Bartley Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013. Calling hours will be held Tuesday 6-8 pm. at Bartley Funeral Home. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Friends may express condolences online at our website: www.bartleyfuneralhome.com.
