MRS. RUTH REBECCA OLIVER BRUCE
DURHAM, NC - Mrs. Ruth Rebecca Oliver Bruce, age 112, passed away on April 8, 2011 in NC.
She is survived by her son, Harold D. Bruce; daughter, Willie Bruce Saddler; six grandchildren, LaWanda (Sais) Kamalidiin, Eddie (Pearl) Saddler, Jr., Ingrid Saddler-Walker, Brian (L-Tonya) Bruce, Sr., James Bruce, Sr. and Margaret Johnson; fourteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home. The interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. Fisher Funeral Parlor (Durham, NC) in charge of arrangements – Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home in charge of local arrangements.
