Howard Pruett Obituary

Howard Pruett CONCORD Mr. Howard Hasel Pruett, Jr., 48, of 6111 Hardwood Lane, Concord, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at CMC-NorthEast. He was born on June 11, 1962 in Mercer County, West Virginia to Phyllis Ann Coon Pruett and the late Howard Hasel Pruett, Sr. He is also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Trula Coon. He is survived by his mother, Phyllis Ann Coon Pruett, of the home; brother, Frederick Lee Coon, of Concord; and sister, Lois Wright, of WVa. Howard was a stocker for Harris Teeter. He loved fishing, racing, and collecting Dale Earnhardt, Sr. and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. memorabilia. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 1, 2011 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord from 7 until 9 p.m. The service will be at 2 p.m. in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel. The family will be meeting at the home of Kayla Isbell at 6030 Hardwood Lane, Concord. Memorials may be made to Hartsell Funeral Home c/o Howard Pruett, Jr. Fund, PO Box 367, Concord, N.C. 28026.
