Mary Kerriou Obituary

HAMPTON, Va. - Mary Catherine Tucker Kerriou passed away Jan. 16, 2011, in Hampton, Va. Mrs. Kerriou was born in Concord, the youngest daughter of Addie Mae Brafford and William David Tucker. She resided in Hyattsville, Md. for a number of years, and then moved to Hampton, Va. to be close to her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Kerriou, sisters, Mae Coley and Nancy Barringer and brother, Elbert Tucker, grandson, Scott Mauger and granddaughter, Tracy Wilson Kublank. She is survived by daughters, Linda Baucom Wilson, Toni Conca Mauger, and Chesley Kerriou Sparkman; five grandchildren, Christine Wilson, Corrine Check, Cathy Ulsh, Carey and Caleb Sparkman; six great-grandchildren, Kayla Kublank Addair, Kinzey and Tiffani Kublank, Chloe, Isabella and Gryphon Check; two great-great grandchildren, Kaydon and Grace Addair. Funeral services were held in Hampton, Va., with burial in Washington, D.C. Friends are invited to visit www.parklawn-woodfh.com to share memories and words of condolence with the family.

it saddens me to see that kay has left us.But at the same time only in sight as knowing she is with Chef joe ;her love.I had the pleasure of meeting them both many years ago at the Mayfair house where I worked at the time.Kay was one of the classiest ladies Ive ever meetbut at the same time gentle and kind.Im not sure if any of the family would remember me but your mom was a great lady and Im sure she is at peace.
