Wanda Query KANNAPOLIS Wanda Jean Weaver Query, 60, died unexpectedly at her home on Monday, Aug. 29, 2011. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. The family will be receiving friends at her residence. Wanda was born June 22, 1951, in Morganfield K.Y., a daughter of the late Edward Weaver and Betty Weaver Hedrick of Concord. She was a lifelong area resident and worked for approximately 30 years for Cannon Mills until it closed. She was of the Baptist faith and spent the last 10 years as the primary caregiver for her mother. Survivors include her mother, Betty Weaver Hedrick; her sister, Teresa Sloop; and her brothers, Ed Weaver (Kim) and Rick Weaver (Eva), all of Concord and her brother Ron Weaver (Sheila) of Kannapolis; and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, William Michael "Moe" Query, who died in March, 2010. Online condolences may be left at www.whitleysfuneralhome.com.
