William G. Lawless
85, Indianapolis IN, passed away November 7, 2014. A graduate of Cathedral High School, Bill obtained a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from General Motors Institute. He retired from a lifelong career with General Motors-Allison, where he worked as a systems engineer. Bill also served in the United States Army.
Bill loved musicals and was involved with the local theatre, IRT. He also was an avid photographer. Bill was a member of the Hoosier Canoe Club as well as The Indianapolis Computer Society.
He is survived by his spouse, Martha L. Lawless; son, Phillip M. Lawless and daughter Ann E. Lawless; sisters, Patricia A. Baughman, Margery C. Wakefield; and brother, Donald F. Lawless. He was preceded in death by sons, William C. Lawless and Matthew M. Lawless; and brother, Robert Lawless.
Visitation will be Friday, November 14, from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary . Funeral services will be Saturday, November 15, 9:30 a.m. in the Mortuary followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 a.m. in St. Matthew Catholic Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Parkinson's Foundation. Condolences may be offered at http://www.feeneyhornakkeystone.com.
