Ruth DuBois-Freeze Obituary
was received by the Lord on Friday, April 22, 2016. Ruthie was 57 years old, graduated from Perry Meridian High School, and was owner of Aunt Ruthie's Tea Time. Ruthie was also leader of Girl Scout Troop 1205 and worked closely with Girl Scouts of Central Indiana.
Ruthie is survived by her husband of 33 years, Steve Freeze, four sisters-Vicki, Linda, Teresa, and Katie-and their husbands, numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Ruthie was also "2nd mother" to numerous young people and touched the lives of many others with her selfless love and compassion.
Visitation will be from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, with a service starting at 3 p.m. at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 1604 W. Morris St., Indianapolis.

Steve, when you stopped by the 18's on the 26th I felt a special bond with you, None of us can lose a loved one of so many years without having a deep seated pain in that loss. A hole left by the spirit who has moved on. Ruthie is to you what my Phyllis is to me. She is your anchor and your sail, the reason to be still and the reason to rejoice. I could see that her soul drives you and your love for her soul shines through that motivation you have. So sorry to hear of Aunt Ruthe's passing. Our girl scout troop had such a wonderful time when she hosted a tea party for us last year. Many prayers.

Sweet Ruth! I am so sorry I didn't stay in touch..I've lost a good friend. Steve, please accept my condolences. I am so very sorry for this loss. Ruth was the sweetest person I have every met. I hope you find comfort in knowing Ruth is with our Lord.

My sister Ruthie was an angel in my life, and in the lives of so many others. I will miss her "Aunt Ruthie" hugs, her innocent charm, her acceptance of all people, her compassion, and her endearing smile. She was great fun, highly talented, and gave it all to everyone around her. What a blessing! I love you and miss you, little sis. Until we meet again.......

She was such a good hugger! A wonderful neighbor, a great friend and genuinely kind and compassionate woman. The whole family will miss her. Oh, and cats. She loved cats too.

My heart was broken when I heard you had gone.
You brought such joy and happiness to everyone and your kind listening ear.
You always told me "God brought you to our big extended family and I love you so much".
I will miss you and your kindness life will never be the same we will never feel the love from your big hugs any longer You always made me feel special Ruthie I will deeply miss you. I know your the angel that watches over the wee ones so that they are safe.

What I will miss the most is her infectious love of life and everyone around her, she was more the just a neighbor, she was family, I will miss her more than words can say!
