Dolores was born on March 7, 1954 in Havre, Montana, grew up in Big Sandy, Montana, and was a graduate of Carroll College, Helena, Montana. She enjoyed spending free time with her family outdoors at Eagle Creek Park and watching her daughters' favorite movies on Saturday nights. Dr. Cikrit was the reason I chose to be a surgeon. She was the best mentor a student could have had. I suppose I thanked her-but there is no way I could have thanked her enough. I still find myself quoting her in the operating room. Requiem in pace.

My husband had a ruptured Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm last September in Knox, IN and was air lifted to Indianapolis, IN. Dr. Cikrit is the one that saved his life. I will always be grateful for this. I just wish my husband could have met her. We just found out about her passing today when we went for a follow up visit to Indy. This was quite devastating and the staff seemed devastated as well. Our thoughts and prayers are with her husband and family. She'll always have a special place in our hearts and she certainly touched our lives. Heaven received a Beautiful Angel!
