You know how much Ro and I love you and think the world of you both. You both will be forever
Blessed for the loving care you provided for your Mom and Grandmother during her final days. As I told you this morning a mother and daughter love like yours comes but once in a lifetime. In later days after the pain begins to ease, your special bond with Yvonne will warm your heart.
Yvonne was a phenomenal women who was a true inspiration to us all. In every walk of her life, she moved with such dignity and grace. Her generous spirit will be missed by Ro and I, and all in our community.
Hold on to God's unchanging hand, and he will bring you comfort and peace. For weeping endureth for a night, but Joy cometh in the morning.

Yvonne was an incredible supporter of Indianapolis Public Schools. I had the pleasure of working with her on multiple projects for the district, and always appreciated her can-do attitude. She helped IPS in ways ranging from helping to secure support for a bond project that renovated or rebuilt multiple IPS schools to providing teacher classroom grants through her work with the IPS Education Foundation. Yvonne was an inspiration to women across generations, races and cultures. She will be missed by many, but she won't be forgotten.

An absolutely amazing person, Yvonne is already greatly missed. She touched so many people in so many ways, and most of those she touched probably don't even realize it. Her passion for just doing the right thing was forefront in her life. I'm glad that God, in His infinite wisdom and mercy, though He took her soul to be with Him, left her spirit to be with us. We're all better people because we knew Yvonne.
