Ardith Levon Morgan
85, of New Palestine, went to her heavenly home Saturday, September 10, 2011. Ardith was born in Indianapolis to James and Bessie (Chapple) McElfresh on October 27, 1925. She graduated from St. Vincent's School of Nursing and was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church in Greenfield.
She is survived by her devoted daughters, Ellen Sluka (Robert) of Munster, IN and Karen Berger (Bryan) of New Palestine, IN, her grandchildren, Stephen Christopher Berger and Alexandra Morgan Berger who loved her very much. She is also survived by a sister, Jeanette Dupee and sister- in- law, Lorraine McElfresh. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward James Morgan, and her brother, George McElfresh.
Funeral services will be held 2:30 PM, Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Center at Washing ton Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229. Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to the service. Entombment will be in Washington Park East Cemetery. Condolences can be made on line at http://www.flannerbuchanan.com.

My heart feels sadness for the loss of Ardith L Morgan. I am a dear friend of Ardith Morgan's son Steve Morgan and know the hurt he felt when he heard the sad news of his mothers passing from a family friend. I send my heartfelt condolences to Mr & Mrs Steve Morgan and family . Also to include Ardith Morgan's daughters and their extended families. May God touch and help heal Ardith's three beloved grown children for their loss. AMEN
