Robert C. Leeper
84, Shelbyville, IN, died July 25, 2012. He was born July 14, 1928 in Milroy, IN to Walter and Opal Hungerford Leeper. He worked in car sales for 17 years at Dave Waite Pontiac, retiring in 1984. He was also a driver for Hubler Chevrolet for 15 years, retiring in April 19, 2012. Mr. Leeper attended Lawrence Central High School.
Mr. Leeper loved driving race cars for the 500 Club and working for Hubler Chevrolet driving cars, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the local veterans organizations.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge 126, Scottish Rite Cathedral, Murat Shrine, the 500 Club, American Legion Post 70. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and the Korean War.
In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation to the Shelby County Animal Shelter in care of Glenn E. George and Son Funeral Home.
Services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2012 in Glenn E. George and Son Funeral Home , with visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. on July 27. A Masonic service will be at 7 p.m. on Friday. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery, Shelby County.
He was preceded in death by parents. Survivors include wife, Delores Leeper of Shelbyville; children, Rebecca (husband, Leo) Clements of Shelbyville, Carolyn (husband, Brian) Hood of Shelbyville; son, Tim Leeper of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Angela Baker, Ryan Zink, Daniel Covington; three great-grandchildren.

I worked with Bob for many years at Hubler Auto Group. He was a good friend and fellow worker. I could always depend on him for lot.s of things but mostly as a friend sorry for your loss
