Harold F. Green
84, of Greenwood, passed away on September 11, 2012. The son of Forest Green and Violet Goff Wedincamp, Harold was born January 14, 1928 in Appalachia, Virginia. After serving in the Merchant Marines, U.S. Army and U.S. Navy, he received a Master's Degree in Education from Indiana University and retired from IPS, having taught at schools 21 and 78. Harold was a member of the American Legion and the Indiana State Teachers Association. Services will be at Noon on September 15, 2012 in Forest Lawn Funeral Home , 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, where friends may call from 10 a.m. Burial: Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Harold is survived by his wife, Glenda L. Ashley Green; son, Harold K. Green; daughters, Pamela Z. Hall and Joyce Reid; a half-brother and half-sister; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
