Mark Higgins Obituary
64, of Indianapolis, passed away on June 1, 2017.
Mark will be missed by his wife of 37 years, Teresa; his daughter, Sara (James) Blankenship; his mother, Viola Higgins; his granddaughters, Cassidy Higgins and Savanna Blankenship; and several brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert, and his son, Keith.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 from 4 to 8 p.m. with services on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Little and Sons Stop 11 Chapel. A message of condolence may be left at

Mark was such a great guy, I had the pleasure of working with Higgie for 10 years. He was so much more than a coworker, he was a great friend. His humor was contagious. Sending up prayers for Terry and Sara and the whole Higgins family. May you rest in peace my friend.

I have had the pleasure of working with Mark for almost 17 years. I will miss our early morning chit chat and him always helping me out when needed. He was an amazing member of the CIV family that will be greatly missed. Sending prayers, hugs and love to the entire family.

I had the pleasure of working with Mark gor 15 years. He was always just a pleasure to speak with or share time at lunch. I had the pleasure of seeing him a couple of times in past years out side of work and each time we spent 20 to 30 min catching up. My condolences to the family and his Cannon IV family I know he will be missed by all of us.

Mark and I went to Scecina together. While we were not best friends, I always enjoyed being around him. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was so kind. It was great to reunite with him at our monthly gatherings. He will be missed. May God bless the family in this time of sorrow.

I have known Mark for most of my life, we went to grade school and high school together and for the last 21 years we have worked together. Mark was one of the kindest, funniest and caring individuals I have ever known. He was just a good man with a tremendous soul. He will be missed greatly.

I remember Mark from grade school and high school and that is how I remember him in my mind. Too many of our school class have left us...but they will be there to greet Mark in the after life. No words I can write can truly comfort Mark's family and close friends; God bless you!
