Cory Prentice a lifelong resident of Oakland died Saturday August 31, 2013. He was 48. Cory loved riding motorcycles, reading and going fishing with his best friend Brent. He is survived by his mother Marilyn Prentice, his brother Todd Prentice, his sister Kelly Allen-Prentice, his cousins Mark Rodrics, Megan & Michael Barger and nephew Ty Cooper. Come join us for a celebration of his life on Thursday, September 12th at 2:11pm.

You were what I call my ride or die $&@-)$ and your gone now, I don't think anyone will ever measure up to you. I think of you daily, I love you so much and that will always be with me.

This is the first time I have had the strength to do this. I miss you more than I ever thought possible. Cooper and Shaun miss you tremendously, we have a life time of memories together. You always tried to protect me, shelter me after dad was gone. I love you more than you will ever know. See you sometime again.

I guess the ufo we saw that day we must have seen for a reason. That is all I can come up with for that strange occurrence on the day of 08/31/2013,your last day with us. I'm so sorry we never made that last fishing trip and I will regret it for a long time to come. I still have to take Tammy to the movies like I promised you,but I'm going to get right on that just as soon as I am done looking after your mom. I have so much to say but I'll save it for the day. Happy Birthday Bro you may be gone but you will never be forgotten. See You In Time!

man....you supported me..told me about myself without hesitation..even at risk of hurting my feelings YOU TOLD ME THE TRUTH BECAUSE YOU CARE!!! TOOK ME TO THE HOSPITAL AGAINST MY WILL..LOL WHEN I WAS TO OUT OF SORTS TO AGKNOWLEGE I NEEDED MEDICAL ATTENTION..
