To the family of Mrs. Foster I offer my heartfelt condolences. We remember Mrs. Foster from teaching at the R.S.Walton School where said made a positive impression on all her students & was a great motivator! She will definitely be missed by all here in Philadelphia!

Dear Dr. Foster, I've been thinking about your Mother for some time. I talk about doing a Flower Garden for her in one of the plots @ our Marcus Foster Bldg. on Cheyney's campus. Your Mother was my music teacher @ R.S. Walton Elementary School. My. Father, Raymond K. Edwards, Sr. was from Darby, PA, so I always felt like family. We'll keep you in our prayers. lovely, brillant mother. I was a young
teacher at RS Walton in Phila. where she
was vice principal.She often spoke of her daughter who she loved deeply.

I shall always remember Abbe as a member of the Fine Arts Group called "The Spirits". Abbe read poetry, Jacqueline Hairston played the piano, Yvonne Daniels danced and I played the flute. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, rest in peace.

I was sorry to hear of your loss.I remember Dr. Marcus Foster as an icon and one of the great pioneer's in paving the way for many of us, as Cheyney grads, to aspire to school administration. I am now aware of a major force behind the throne,who supported his great leadership and educational accomplishments. You have my deepest sympathy and respect.

I am deeply sadden by the passing of Mrs. Albertine Ramseur Foster,
I offen said she was a strong african american after the assassination of Dr. Marcus A. Foster in November 6, 1973
I wish there had been an autobiograpy on Dr. Foster I believe he was changing the school system for the better of Oakland,Ca prior to his death which was senseless at the time.
My we remember the legacy of not only of Dr. Foster but his widow as well
My she rest in peace.
