A longtime resident of Castro Valley, Eleanor passed away peacefully on Friday, March 13, 2015 at the age of 88.
Born and raised in Iowa, Eleanor and her late husband, Fred, settled in Castro Valley in the early 1950's. Eleanor worked for many years at the Fremont Centerville and Castro Valley Libraries. In addition to her love of gardening and reading, she had been active in the Audubon Society and the Color Pencil Society of America.
No memorial service will be held as per her wishes.
