Grace M. Raimondi

GRACE M. RAIMONDI A longtime Oakland and Hayward resident passed away May 14, 2004 at the age of 93. Dearly beloved mother of Ronald Raimondi of Oakland and the late John Anthony Raimondi and mother-in-law of Charlene Raimondi of San Leandro. Devoted grandmother of Cheryl Meares and her husband, Kevin, Michelle Thompson and her husband, Jim, Stacey Ferreira and her husband, Michael and 4 great granddaughters and 1 great grandson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and in-laws. Grace was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Clarence "Hank" Raimondi. Grace was co-owner of Raimondi's Montclair Paint & Wallpaper, where she was in charge of the wallpaper department. She was the columnist of "Grace Says", weekly article in the Montclarion newspaper and a member of YLI council 8 and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. Friends are invited to attend the Funeral Liturgy Tuesday, May 18, 2004 at St. Leander Church, 550 West Estudillo Ave., San Leandro at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Oakland. The Vigil service will be held on Monday, May 17th at St. Leander Church beginning at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will be from noon to 5 p.m. at the Santos-Robinson Mortuary, 160 Estudillo Ave., San Leandro on Monday.
