What a creative sax player Vince was! I played piano in his group at the Spigot in Santa Barbara around 1959 . Vince and I wrote a couple of jazz tunes together - I learned so much from him. Our gigs were filled with beautiful and exciting jazz. He was a beautiful soul.

I met Vince in Santa Barbara. He was playing at The Spigot, The House of Jazz. This was back around 1959-1960. I got to sit in with his band. I was in the Navy stationed in San Diego and coming home on weekends. What a great player he was.

I only met Vince once when I visited my Aunt in Oakland. He came across to me as gifted and experienced musician - and a good man!

Vince and I went to Fremont High School in Oakland together and I always enjoyed listening to him play. He was a wonderful musician and will be missed by many. Bless you and may you rest in peace.
