We first met at your house on a Friday night before crusing the San Leandro Strip.
Then lead to fun & games at Fred & Marlene's, weekend parties at Bill & Sandy's, Summers at the Indian Valley Outpost, concerts, Uncle Tom's Cabin in Woodside, Global Pacific, the memories come flooding back.
I haven't see or spoken to you in 20 years....we just lost touch.
But, all that truly matters in the end, is that you loved, and were loved.

Barb, you were always such a beautiful, thoughtful, sweet and caring person. I'm blessed to be part of your "extended" family. I will miss you SO much. It's selfish to admit that I need one more hug from you, one more phone call -- one more chance to tell you how much you meant to me. I will miss you and think of you fondly until my time has come. My love goes out to Joanie, Karen and Kevin, along with the rest of family. Love, Pam Edwards Portland OR

You lit up the room when you walked in. That is what i will cherish the most. You were the one that whenever you arrived everyone had smiles and cheers on there faces. Your prescence made people feel warm and happy inside. You will truly be missed. Let us all let your warmth stay with us forever. I love you aunt Barbara.....

Auntie Barb,
So many memories, to list them would be impossible but they play
in my memory like it was just yesterday. I will miss you so very much.
You were there for me so many times I thank you for that. I know your
doing just fine cuz your with Carl and Mom. Heck you finally made it huh! Watch out for all of us, things are not so sweet down here these days we will all need your loving guidenence and a swift kick every now and then. Ha! Remember what we always said when we left, we'll
try and give a sign somehow so I am waiting for something. Do it big
though so everyone will know its you. Ha! I love you Barb and will never forget. See you sometime in the next 10 or 20 years or maybe sooner.. All my Love, Kenny

Auntie Barbara....you were the closest thing I had to a grandmother. I will miss you terribly. I made tough choices with my life. You never judge me and always supported me. Say hello to my mom and Kimmy. Now is the time for rest and peace. I know we will all be together again someday.

I enjoyed Barbara's company from the time she came to work at the Employee Development Department of the Naval Aviation Depot, Alameda. We had lots of laughs. I still remember the affection with which she shared pictures of her cat Smokey..

Dear Autie "Mame", you will be dearly missed, as you know already. No more Sunday visits or phone calls, discussions about our "kids" and all their issues, clearing the ice from the freezer, the "honey-do-lists", HEY -watch the gargage door for the Cat and of course, the updates on the ball games. We had many good times that will be missed. You don't know how much you were loved by the family and will be remembered for your outgoing personality, smile and just being 'you'. You're now in a better place with all our loved ones, hopefully, keeping an eye on us all. Give extra hugs and kisses to Debbie, mom (Sanny), dad (Bill) and the whole bunch. One day, if I'm lucky, I'll be up there with you all. You will be missed but, not forgotten. Loved forever- "Dougie" (and I still don't like the name but, that was Barb- Antie Mame).

Auntie Barb I will miss you dearly, your cheery uplifting voice and your radiant smile on your face. Thank you for being a mom, auntie and most of all my best friend! I will never forget when I lost my kitty Taz and grieved for weeks, until you helped and consoled me through it. No one else could bring me out of depression, but you! Through the 37 years I have known you, I have admired your strength and beauty you possessed and hoped that I would grow up and be the mom and friend you were to so many. You will never be forgotten and I know you are now with Carl and your beloved sister Sanny and soon we will all be together again. Love you always! Susie
