Matthew Joseph Sardinia Born March 19, 1987 Resident of Castro Valley Matt was a lifelong resident of Castro Valley having attended Vannoy Elementary, Canyon Middle School and having graduated Castro Valley High School in 2006. Upon graduation, he was awarded a scholarship to California College of the Arts in San Francisco where he was currently enrolled and taking classes. He is survived by his parents Judy and Manny, his brother Robbie and his grandmother Dorothea Osborne. Matt's tenacity, his smile, and his creative spirit will be dearly missed by his family and friends. May you truly rest in peace dear Matty. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday September 25th at 6:30pm @ Jess C. Spencer Mortuary in Castro Valley. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Muscular Dystrophy Association are preferred. I only knew him for a small amount of time.. but he was a very strong person.. going to school regardless of his condition. wow, you don't find a heart with that much passion. He def. inspired me to do my best. god bless him and his whole family.... sorry for the loss..............................
