I wish I could have seen this fine man before he passed. I was 15 years when he saved me from the place I was. He is and forever will be my hero. I only wish I could have stayed in touch with him. He was an officer in the Port royal police department. He was a good hearted man who came to my rescue. He just happened to be the officer that my friend found that day and his voice on the phone was and will be forever in my heart. Thank you for your service. Your heart and your strength. You will forever be my angel as and my hero.

For Toy and all of Jim's family,
I know you are going through a difficult time, just remember as the spirit is absent from the body Jim is now in the presence of God. It was a pleasure to have known Jim most of his life, I truly enjoyed seeing him on return trips to Beaufort.

Jim had a heart as big as all outdoors. He was the kindest and most gentle soul I've known in a long time. Law enforcement has truely lost a professional. This world is truely a much better place for having known Jim. Toy, may God grant you peace during this time. Cindy;s and my prayers are with you and your family.

Jim dated my sister when she was in high school. I remember him as very kind and patient with a pesky younger sister. He was a great guy!
