Margaret Fadde Obituary

Margaret (Peggy) Anna Yvonne FaddeMargaret (Peggy) Anna Yvonne Fadde, 94, of Hilton Head Island, SC, died Monday August 29, 2011, at The Fraser Health Center. She moved to Hilton Head in 2008 from Toms River, NJ. Peggy was an avid traveler, reader and Mah Jongg player who enjoyed being with her friends and family. Mrs. Fadde was born April 17, 1917, in Elizabeth, NJ to the late George and Margaret Hey Benson. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur in 1990. She is survived by her daughter, Laraine Mitchell (Warren) of Hilton Head Island; son, Arthur Fadde (Deborah) of Ormond Beach, FL; brother, George Randall Benson (Carol) of Lanoka Harbor, NJ; grandchildren, Christopher Mitchell (Lisa) of Florida, NY, Jeffrey Mitchell of Nevada City, CA, Arthur Fadde III (Shelley) of McLeansville, NC, Leslie Hayton (Jeffrey) of Denver, NC, and Dustin Mayeux (Veronica) of West Creek, NJ; and six great grandchildren, Sean and Jason Mitchell of New York, Jackson and Emma Fadde of NC, and Jake and Carly Hayton of NC. A visitation will be held on Saturday September 3, from 10 to 11 AM, at Werson Funeral Home in Linden, NJ, with a graveside to follow at 11 AM at The Rosedale and Linden Cemeteries, Inc., in Linden. A local celebration of "Peggy's" life will be held later in September. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care of the LowCountry, PO Box 3827, Bluffton, SC 29910. The Island Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
