Michael David Skidmore Michael David Skidmore, 62, husband of Peach Morrison, of Beaufort, SC passed away on Monday, September 5, 2016 at Riverside Health and Rehabilitation in Charleston, SC. The family will receive friends Monday, September 12, 2016 from 5 to 7 pm at Anderson Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at 2 PM at Sea Island Presbyterian Church on Ladys Island. Michael was born on August 21, 1954 in Lockport, NY. He was the son of Constance Ornella Skidmore Randall and the late James Otto Skidmore and the step son of the late John "Skip" Randall. His late grandparents, Santi and Santa Ornella, were also instrumental in his upbringing. He graduated from DeSales Catholic High School in Lockport, NY where he played football with their impressive O & D line. He attended Niagara County Community College. He was a former Fireman, Car Rental Business Co-owner and a Field Operator and Engineering Tech with Beaufort, Jasper Water & Sewer Authority from which he retired. He was the Co-owner and Chief Operating Officer of Deepwater Construction with his mighty crew. He was an avid fisherman and loved to hunt, especially with John. Surviving in addition to his wife Peach and mother Constance, are two daughters, Molly (Gabriel) Planas and Megan Skidmore; one sister, Susan (James) Stymus and a brother, Timothy (Wendy) Randall. He is survived by his mother in law, Agnes Morrison, his sister in law Rebecca (Brett) Hughes, five nephews, three nieces and several cousins. He is also survived by his first wife, Pauline "Toni" (Robert Fusarini) and his brother in law John (Janet) Duke. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to your local hospice, Rotary Foundation or a charity of your choice. There will be an additional memorial held in Lockport, NY, for those of his friends that cannot make the trip to South Carolina for these services, at a date yet to be determined. Anderson Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
