Bonnie Brown Obituary
A Service of Remembrance for Bonnie will be at 2 PM Friday, September 30 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with Private Family burial in McKay Cemetery at Hickory Flat.
Bonnie was born November 27, 1973, the daughter of the late Robert and Linda Sue Riley Baldwin. She received her education in the Benton County School System and had been a resident of Memphis for 10 years. She had been employed as a Fund Raising Coordinator for the City of Memphis Mayor's Office and received much pleasure in sharing "Bonnie's Laundry Baskets of Love" to those in need of assistance in the Memphis area.
Visitation for family and friends will be today from 1 PM to 2 PM at The Ripley Funeral Home.
Bonnie will be remembered as a Christian who enjoyed crocheting, being with family and friends and preparing her famous recipe of Lasagna for family gatherings and special events.
She is survived by her son, Jeremy Brown of Biolxi, 3 sisters, Buffy Baldwin of Olive Branch, Cynthia Baldwin of Pontotoc and Carolyn Cobb (Pete) of Hickory Flat, a brother, Eddie Baldwin of Olive Branch. Bonnie had a special love and closeness for her maternal grandmother, Aliene Riley who died in 1999.

My fondest memory of Bonnie is when she returned as a guest speaker to the Single Women's Lodge of The Salvation Army Purdue Center of HOPE last year after successfully completing the program. She boldly shared at the luncheon with the residents, guest and staff her struggles and success. She left a lasting impact. She was a very kind, thoughtful and witty young lady. She had the most infectious laughter and no one was a stranger to Bonnie. Rest in Peace BB. c.giles-thomas
