Mildred Sloan Obituary
Mildred Marie (Mickey) Sloan age 96, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 8,2016 at the home of her Son in Hemet, CA.. Mickey was born in Prosper, Texas to Charles and Maude Scroggins. She was an avid fisherwoman and enjoyed trips to Lake Mead with her late husband, Clarence Sloan.
Mickey was loved by all and she loved everyone. She worked at General Dynamics Pomona for 20 years.
Mickey is survived by her Son and Daughter-in-law, Charles and Jeannie Radney, Step-Daughter Susan Karikas; 2 sisters, Charlene Kallas and Francis Ross, 6 Grandchildren, Cheri Montes, Dana Jenkins, Cecil and Dean Kuns, George and Andrea Karikas; 12 Great Grandchildren and 8 Great-great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Daughter June Kuns, Grandson Brian Radney, 4 sisters and one Brother and Husband Clarence Sloan.
A memorial service will be held at Central Baptist Church, 395 San Bernardino Ave., Pomona on Sunday, April 17 at 4:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to either Arbor Hospice in Hemet, CA or Central Baptist Church.
