Wesley B. Clark of El Centro passed away of cancer at ECRMC on Wednesday, April 13, 2011.
Wes was born November 23, 1954 in Brawley, Ca. He was raised in El Centro and graduated from Central Union High School in 1972. After various jobs, he met Leslie Spanel. They were married in 1991 and had two children, Kristy and Austin. Next to his wife and children his first love was the Raiders. He also was an avid fan of desert motorcycle racing in which he raced for several years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Leslie and father, Don Clark.
Wes is survived by his daughter, Kristy Clark of El Centro; son, Austin Clark of Santa Ana; mother, Carol Rae and stepfather Randy Rountree of El Centro; sister and husband, Traci and Glen Spires of North Branch, MN; uncle and wife Barry and Cecilia Woody of Arizona; aunt, Joyce Moynier of El Centro; stepmother, Charlotte Clark of El Centro; step sisters, Susan Harberson of El Centro, Gwen Hubenthal, Jan Rothschild, Heather Gazda and Amy DaSilva all of Yuma.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 14, at 10 a.m., at Evergreen Cemetary in El Centro.
