Vann Funeral Home 4265 St. Andrew St. Marianna, FL 32448 482-3300 R.D. Clemmons Mr. R.D. Clemmons, better known as "Buddy Tom," of Marianna departed this life on January 20, 2010, in Southeast Medical Center in Dothan, Ala. He was a native of Marianna, and a member of the Springfield African Methodist Episcopal Church. The funeral service will be Saturday, Jan. 30, 11 a.m. at the Springfield African Methodist Episcopal Church, with the Rev. Kevin Robinson (pastor), the Rev. Mary Myrick, and the Rev. Delanor Myrick officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Vann Funeral Home is in charge. A wake will be held Friday, Jan. 29, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Vann Funeral Home. Mr. Clemmons will lie in repose at the church, from 10 a.m. until time for the funeral. He leaves to cherish his memories: Wife, Calona Clemmons of Camp-bellton; seven sons, Jerhron Clemmons of Marianna, Willie Clemmons (Tangelyn) of Frederick, Md., David Clemmons (Robbie) of Dothan, Ala., Robert Clemmons (Monica) of North Augusta, S.C., Steve Clemmons (Demetria) of Columbia, S.C., Daniel Clemmons (Ericka) of Columbus, Ga., Roy Clemons (Bobbie) of Cape Canaveral; five daughters, Alexandria Clemmons (Justin) of Campbellton, Mary (John) Patterson, Corine (Roger) Wooten, Sherry (Junior) Davis, and Edna (Andrea) Clemons, all of Tallahassee; two brothers, Johnny Williams and Ezell Gilbert of Quincy; two sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; special friends of many years, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Mixon of Tallahassee; 25 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
