Beverly VanPelt Obituary

Beverly A. VanPelt, 81

Beverly Ann (Edwards) VanPelt, age 81 of Marshfield, died at 12:40 p.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2012, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

Beverly was born in Covington, on August 5, 1930. She was the daughter of Estal and Mary H. (Kiser) Edwards. She was a lifelong resident of Warren County. She was a graduate of Covington High School.

On September 22, 1950 she married Robert "Tooney" VanPelt at the Galloway Chapel Church. He survives.

Beverly was a homemaker. She was a 4-H leader in Warren County for 13 years. She enjoyed cooking and puzzles.

Surviving are 3 children, Martha "Marti" McLaughlin (husband: Kevin) of Alpharetta, GA, Randy VanPelt of rural Williamsport, and Karen Gray (husband: Mike) of Crawfordsville; 2 half-brothers, Tom Edwards and Lee Edwards; 6 grandchildren, Adam McLaughlin, Lacey McLaughlin Creaser, Evan McLaughlin, Bryan VanPelt, Curtis VanPelt, and Samantha VanPelt.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother Robert "Bob" Edwards.

Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in West Lebanon on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Paul Kent officiating. Interment will be at West Lebanon Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.gradyfuneralhome.com.
