Sally Mak Obituary
Sally Ruth Mak, 57, died at her residence on September 9, 2016 after a long battle with cancer.
Sally was born in Demotte, IN on September 3, 1959 to Ruth Meyers Mak and the late Charles Mak.
She received her Bachelors Degree in Developmental Child Psychology and her Masters in Elementary Education from Purdue University. She spent most of her life teaching, loving children, and faithfully serving the Lord by loving and encouraging everyone she met.
On May 14, 1983 she married Ron Hoffman in Demotte, IN.
Surviving with her husband, Ron are her four children, Sara (husband, Travis)Bannon, Hayley, Aaron, and Evan Mak Hoffman.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Clear River Church, 601 N 3rd St, Lafayette with Pastor Bobby Malicoat officiating. A reception will follow until 8 p.m.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Dimartino and her staff for exceptional care and love over the last 8 years and to St. Elizabeth Hospice for allowing Sally to be cared for at home so she could spend her last days with her family. Praise be to God for her beautiful life and service.

Ron, Sara, Haley, Aaron & Evan, I am so very sorry for your loss. Sally was such a wonderful woman and I hate that I just now found out. Justin loved her cooking and coming over for sleep overs. You are in our thoughts and prayers, what a wonderful angel god has with him.

She will be greatly missed. Ur family is in our thoughts and prayers. Glad she is with our Lord and no more suffering. U will reunite with her again for eternity when ur day comes. Until then, she will be in all of our hearts for the amazing woman she was and had a gift working with children. Olivia remembers her and her costume she wore for VBS. Her impact and the way she made others around her feel will continue and we will take it with us.
