Eleanor McShea Obituary
Eleanor was born March 6, 1929, in Manchester, daughter of the late Leslie A. and Molly G. (Frederickson) Stevenson. She was raised in Manchester, graduated from Manchester High School, Class of 1947, and had worked at the former Cheney Mills for several years. She had lived most of her life in Manchester and also resided in Mansfield, Bolton, and most recently in Vernon.
Eleanor was a very loving mother, sister, and friend, and is survived by her daughter, Kelly McShea and George Purple of Mansfield; two sisters, Arlene Ostrout of Manchester and Barbara Kasel of Florida; and many nieces and nephews and their families. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Doris Stevenson; and a brother, Leslie C. Stevenson.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Feb. 16. at 10:30 a.m. at Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main St., Manchester, with burial to follow in Bolton Center Cemetery, Bolton.
Family and friends may call Monday, Feb. 15, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
