Aunt Minnette, Jodi, Charlie, Steve, Uncle Roger, Mom and all of the grandkids - My heart goes out to you all. Keep the happy memories in your hearts. Although we were so far away...Uncle Booty was very much loved and he will be missed.

Dear Aunt Minnette, Jodi, Charlie, Steve, and your immediate families -

I'm writing you all this brief note of condolence, as I do not yet know if I will be able to make it to the service's tomorrow, and wanted to express my deepest condolences with regards to the passing of Uncle Booty.

While there truly are no words that can express how one feels at a time like this, please know that each of you and your families are in my thoughts and prayers.

I also wanted to let you know Aunt Minnette how much it meant for me and my family that you and Uncle Booty were able to make it to Dad's service almost 2 years ago. I'm sure that Aunt Mary and Aunt Louise and their families felt the same way when you were both able to make the services for Uncle Lee and Uncle Ed as well.

I personally am not a very religious person, but I do beleive in God, and I do beleive there is a heaven for those deserving of it, and I know that over the past few years, as the entire "family" has lost our fathers / husbands / uncles that they are all together there, reunited with Grandma and Grandpa Celia, cousin Duane, Aunt Carol, my Grandma and Grandpa Unrein, and all of the other family members that have passed over the years. Whether the Uncles are all out fishing, playing cards, or just having a few "sociables", I'm comforted in knowing that they are not only in God's presence, but in each others as well.

We'll all be reunited with them at some point in our futures, and what a special time that will be for all.

Please take care.

Your nephew / cousin,

Chris
