Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

To the my family in and outside Racine, know that I along with Michelle, all my brothers and sisters, and my children on the Little side of the family share in the great sorrow at the loss and at the same time God's blessing in the homegoing of our beloved Wallace. We shall all miss him, his wonderful smile, his love, support, and conversation, but he is with God and with Sis. May God bless and keep us all through this time.

Dear Wallace, Sandra, Calvin, and Gerrod, we are saddened at our old friend Wallace's passing. We have great memories of him from conferences at Mitchell Jr. High and from years of smiles, waves, and horn blasts from the big orange truck as we passed each other on Memorial Drive. You were lucky to have had such a great dad and grandfather. He set a fine example for raising a family. I'm sure he is with Aretha and
Willie and Gus. Our sympathy to the whole family.

Wally and Aretha were good neighbors. I miss seeing Wally sit outside the garage when I pull up to visit my mother. My husband grew to really like him and would sit outside and talk with him many days. The family have our deepest sympathy.
