Sister IJ was one of the classic nuns at Mount Mary College. I will always be grateful for the unyeilding kindness, compassion and encouragement she offered. This is true of all of the fine School Sisters of Notre Dame at Mount Mary College. Sister IJ had such a devine sense of humor and would find amusing some of the antics we residents of Claire Hall were caught doing. Sliding down the bannister from the second floor to the main hall floor brought a stern look from Sister IJ, but I do believe as she turned away,a small smile slowly eased onto her gentle face. How fortunate we were to have her as one of our guiding forces at Mount Mary College. May God bless Sister Isaac Jogues and all those sisters who made Mount Mary college the best eduational experience for any young woman or those older students returning to complete their education. Thank you!

My heartfelt condolences to Sister I.J.'s entire family and specifically, to her nephew Tom, who is a dear friend from high school. My twin sister Lindy and I were blessed to have Sister I.J. in our lives during our college years at Mount Mary. Sister I.J.'s kindness and beautiful smile will forever be remembered. Thank you Sister I.J. for touching my life!

While I never had Sister I.J. as a professor, I do remember her cheerful and energetic spirit. The community has lost one of the "great ones". May the image of a glorious reunion in heaven be a comfort to all who knew her.

She was spunky and brilliant and a truly marvelous woman. She brought life to the Academic Resource Center.

Dear Sisters & Friends of I.J.,
A good and faithful servant was in our midst and touched us all in positive ways. Our dear sister and friend is now at peace with our God. She was welcomed as a "good faithful servant." Thank you I.J. for being in my life.
In the Risen Christ,

Sister I.J. was a wonderful person as a woman and a nun. We were all so fortunate to have known her and the goodness and kindness which flowed from her spirit. May God bless ALL of the sisters with the SSND community.
