I will miss Rosie.
As young teachers we both taught in the Hamilton School District of Sussex, WI. Rosie always had the welfare of her students as a clear focus. I often wondered what drove the passion she had for work with students. She gave of her heart and asked little in return. She could be 'tough as nails', but she could be as comforting as a kid's 'binky'.
Rosie and I had a friendship of 32 years. But, I had hoped for many more years to share with her. I will treasure the memories of travel together - New York City, Washington, D.C.; Vail, Colorado; Orlando, Florida; and many more places. We traveled in the coldest of winters and the hottest of summers ... there were always adventures to be had and places to visit.
There is a profound emptiness in my heart at the loss of my good friend.
Wonderful memories will keep Rosie's friendship a treasured part of my life.

Rosie, I carry fond memories of you from high school, BBYO, and membership on CJL and Yom HaShoah committees. You lived life well. You will be remembered by all the people you touched, especially by the children. What a legacy! My heart goes out to your family, but you live on through all those lives you touched.

I was so saddened to read of Rosie's passing. I knew Rosie from our student days at UWM. I must concur with many of the sentiments written here in the guest book. Rosie was such a treasure! May she rest in God's peace.

Our family's thoughts and prayers are with your family. I always felt better knowing that if I couldn't always be there for my kids while they were at Parkway that Mrs. Frydman was there.

Rosie, my friend who taught me different ways to laugh and to see the a positive in many situations that at first blush second, third or more blushes would not be seen by anyone else. The students we worked with were always your first priority and first in your thoughts. When my dad passed you helped me understand the memories he left me. You along with many of the others I taught with help me every day to be, I hope, a better person because of who you were day in and day out. The best teachers are those who learn to copy and use the good they see around them. Rosie, you showed me quite a bit just by being "Rosie and I do still try to copy and use what I learned from you. My sympathies to your family, but I know that they are better for having had “Rosie in their lives

A few months ago,Rosie came to see our new home and I asked her what she wanted for lunch. She said with a straight face, "Campbell's Tomato Soup and grilled cheese". She teased me unmercifully as I burned the sandwiches! I will never forget her sense of humor and postive influence on our children.

"When we are born,we cry while others around us smile. We are told we should live our lives in such a way that when it is our time, we will be smiling while all those around us will be in tears." A quote from Rosie on her Facebook page.
You're life touched so many children and adults in ways that will carry your spirit on this earth for eternity.

We know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love.

As her former student and current co-worker, I can say that she undoubtedly touched the lives of so many. She will be dearly missed. There is a missing piece from our Parkway family and my thoughts go out to her family and friends. Thank you Rosie for being such a special and important part of my life and thousands of others. A true inspiration and heart of gold.
